Nicely decorated and well-equipped rooms with thoughtful extras. Excellent service throughout our stay. Lovely garden outside. Exceptionally nice location when travelling to York. Good area.

The location was stunning and particularly good, in a great area of North Yorkshire. It was a short walk to the fields beyond as well as the garden in the evening.

The breakfast offered a good choice of delightful meals. I have stayed in a deluxe queen room with a big comfy bed for 1 night. - the location was absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice in a peaceful area, near the pub. - It was a 10-minute drive from Church of St John.
